Terms and Conditions (chantrieu_ART)


§1 Applicability to businesses and definitions

(1) The following General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all deliveries between us and a consumer
in the version valid at the time of the order.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither
attributable to their commercial nor their self-employed professional activity (Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

§2 Formation of a contract, storage of the contract text

(1) The following provisions regarding the conclusion of contracts apply to orders placed via our online shop at https://www.origami-galaxy.de.
(2) If the contract is concluded, it is with:

(3) The presentation of goods in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer on our part, but is merely a non-binding invitation to the consumer to place an order. By ordering the desired goods, the consumer makes an offer to conclude a contract of sale which is binding on them.

(4) The following rules apply when an order is placed via our online shop:
The consumer makes a binding offer to enter into a contract by successfully completing the ordering process provided in our online shop.

The ordering process consists of the following steps:

  1.  Select the desired items
  2. Confirm by clicking the “Order” button
  3. Check the details in the shopping basket
  4. Click the “Proceed to checkout” button
  5. Log in to the online shop after registering and entering your login details (email address and password).
  6. Check and correct the details entered once again.
  7. Submit the order by clicking the “Place order” or “Buy” button
Before submitting the order, the consumer may, after checking their details, return to the webpage where the customer’s details are entered by clicking the ‘Back’ button in their web browser, and correct any input errors or cancel the ordering process by closing the web browser.
We will confirm receipt of the order immediately by means of an automatically generated email (“Order Confirmation”). By doing so, we accept your offer.


(5) Retention of the contract text for orders placed via our online shop: We will send you the order details and our Terms and Conditions by
email. You can also view the Terms and Conditions at any time at http://www.origami-galaxy.de/terms.html.

For security reasons, your order details are no longer accessible via the internet.

§3 Prices, delivery charges, payment, due date

(1) The prices quoted include VAT and other charges (such as packaging costs). Any delivery charges will be added to this.

(2) The consumer may pay via

  • Prepaid via Banktransfer
  • PayPal
  • Stripe
  • credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • iDEAL
  • EPS

(3) If the consumer has chosen to pay in advance, they undertake to pay the purchase price immediately after the contract has been concluded.

§4 Delivery

(1) Unless we have clearly stated otherwise in the product description, all items we offer are ready for immediate dispatch.
Delivery will take place within 10 working days at the latest.
In the case of payment in advance, the delivery period begins on the day after the payment order is sent to the bank handling the transfer; for all other payment methods, it begins on the day after the contract is concluded.
If the end of the delivery period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday at the delivery address, the period ends on the next working day.

(2) The risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the
goods sold passes to the buyer only upon delivery of the goods to the buyer, even in the case of a sale by delivery.

§5 Retention of title

We retain title to the goods until the purchase price has been paid in full.

§8 Warranty

The statutory warranty provisions apply. Please note that the warranty does not cover wear and tear resulting from normal use or damage caused by improper handling. As the origami earrings are made of paper, some wear and tear is inevitable despite the water-repellent coating.

§9 Contract language

The contract is available in German only.
