1. Will the silver jewelry tarnish over time?

2. Why does 925 sterling silver tarnish?

Silver reacts with sulfur compounds in the air, as well as sweat, skin oils, cosmetics, or perfume.

It happens especially often:

3. Is tarnishing a defect?
